Verse magic the magic of song, poetry, charm, and grace. Not everyone who uses Verse magic needs an instrument or a head for lyrics, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Verse magic isn't in the base Genesys game, so when you're reading the magic section you might be a bit confused. No problem!
Verse magic is associated with the following disciplines: Augment, Barrier, Conjure, Curse, Dispel, Heal, and Utility.
"But wait!" I hear you saying. "None of those disciplines have spell effects for Verse magic." You're right! When a discipline has a spell effect for Arcane magic, Verse casters can use those spell effects as if they were Arcane casters.
Here is a new spell effects for Verse:
Augment: Courage (+p): Targets affected by the spell a gain boost die to combat checks and discipline checks to avoid fear, plus an additional boost die per two uncancelled successes.
